Kings Cross

Party Venues Sydney

Locally known as The Cross, Kings Cross is Sydney’s famous red-light district. The notorious Sydney hot spot features bars, sex shops, tattoo parlors and absolutely lives up to its reputation. On your average Saturday night, you can expect to see 20,000 party goers cram into the one suburb for a night of booze, partying and car hooning. If you love flashing lights, loud noises and the most vile of human behavior, Kings Cross is your destination.

Not much in the way of fine dining on the main strip (which is probably a good thing) however you can still find some nice restaurants tucked behind Darlinghurst Rd on Macleay St. You can also find some nice places to eat on the Darlinghurst side of The Cross which is away from much of the crazyness.

Nightclubs are really where its at when it comes to Kings Cross. Whether you’re looking for a quiet bar, loud banging club or raunchy strip club, they are all available on the main strip. Notable Kings Cross night clubs include The Roosevelt, Beach Haus, Hugo’s Lounge, The World Bar but there is so much more!

For strip clubs, see the Sydney Strippers page on this site.

Parking can be tough especially in the tight back streets, so we strongly advise that its best to organise your own lifts. Trains from Kings Cross don’t go all night and Taxi drivers hardly stop in this area. When 20,000 drunk people hit the streets looking for a way home, its not a nice scene. Dont say we didn’t warn you….

George Street

Party Venues Sydney

Being the oldest street in Australia, George Street is your typical busy inner city road that stretches throughout the city. Roughly 3 km’s in length, it begins in the southern suburb of Redfern and continues all the way to the furthest ends of Circular Quay. Throughout this stretch, George Street houses many different precincts with their own flavour of Party Venues Sydney. Most notable bars found on George Street include The Establishment, The Ivy, Zeta Bar, 3 Wise Monkeys and Star Bar.

Unlike some of the other areas of Sydney, George Street does not have it’s own theme throughout. Rather, the energy from this area of Sydney evolves the further in you travel.

From it’s backpacker and university centralised Central Station area, through to the bustling and vibrant energy found at Town Hall station, George Street is packed with students, shoppers, sightseers and commuters. Next you’re presented with a long retail stretch which includes The Queen Victoria Building, The Galleries and the Market St intersection where you will find the famous Pitt St Mall. As the street continues north, we find George Street intersect with Martin Place, the financial district of Sydney until we finally arrive at the historic suburbs of The Rocks and Circular Quay where you will find high end shopping, restaurants and art galleries. Party Venues Sydney are littered throughout the strip.

Planning your event anywhere along this popular strip will surely be a hit!
